I have six weeks left from tomorrow

As a direct result from the BBQ, Linda came to church again! She loves the Gospel Principles teacher and mentioned that she plans to come to church the whole year. Unfortunately she has so many things to worry about that we haven't really been able to invite her to be baptized. We haven't had an actual lesson with her though. She and her two teenagers have made a hobby of doing charity work (volunteering at hospitals and stuff) so I think God will find great use for them in the church.

Last Wednesday we took our investigator Chris up to the Visitor Center. The sister missionaries there were able to show him the Christus statue with a cool audio recording with it, and a temple tour. Chris just got married, so learning about the temple was cool. When he came to church he had made up his mind the he was going to be baptized.

This morning they announced the transfers! Elder Rodriguez and I will be staying in our area. This means that E. Rod will exceed a year in Torrance 1st ward. He's looking forward to finally get a baptism (Chris) in this area.
