One Sunday left

We had a lovely Sunday yesterday. There were'nt any investigators there or less active members, but missionary work was done. Our recent convert, Chris, received the Aaronic Priesthood and was ordained to the office of priest. It seems that next Sunday he'll be helping the priests prepare the sacraments. I wanted him to start with preparing and blessing the sacrament. However, he's a member now, so we're not in charge of how he progresses anymore (we still help of course). I don't know how long it'll take for him to get the Melchizedek Priesthood, but probably a couple months I guess.

We finally got back in contact with one of our newer investigators, Christian (not Chris), and taught a lesson with him and his wife. It was a funny lesson. We taught some of the Plan of Salvation. His wife Louisa believes in a lot of Eastern things like reincarnation. Several times during the lesson he would look at her and say, "You believe that?!?" It seems they forgot to do the religion talk before getting married. During the lesson, their 1 or 2 year old son climb up on the couch give us a surprize hug. Now they have a picture of missionaries with their kid on their phones. I think that's a good step towards baptism. However different they may be, they both seemed to appreciate what we had to say and we'll be back later.

We didn't really do anything on Holloween. Missionaries had to be back in their apartments by six o' clock. We live in a gated apartment complex so we didn't get any kids to pass out candy to.
